George Toyama, founder and president of GTS, has over 20 years of experience in providing quality service as a prime and sub-contractor for private industry and for the Federal Government contracting sector in Housing Maintenance, Janitorial Services, Exterior Building Cleaning, Flooring, Painting and other related services.
Mr. Toyama is active in the small business affairs and was awarded the “Small Business Advocate of the Year, 2004” for the City and County of Honolulu. He is the present Chairman for the 8(a) Council of Hawaii, a member of the Board of Directors of the Contract Services Association of America (CSA), a member of the Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA), the National Contract Management Association – Hawaii Chapter (NCMA), the Associated Builders and Contractors – Hawaii Chapter (ABC) and the Hawaii Flooring Association (HFA).
GTS managed and maintained the “Self Help Stores” for Pearl Harbor Navy Housing and the Coast Guard Housing in Hawaii for 5 years as a sub-contractor for Day Zimmerman.
GTS has or does work as a sub-contractor for Day Zimmerman, Del-Jen, Allstar, Actus Lend Lease, Madison Services, SAIC and others who are leaders in the Government Contracting arena.
